A 36-yr-frail man from Selous has bought a two-yr penal complicated sentence after surroundings fireplace to but every other man’s hut. The incident followed a US$2 dispute on 3 April 2026.
Ali Munyambwana argued with the sufferer at a shop in the Selous Tobacco Farm compound. However, the disagreement rapid escalated.
After the argument, Munyambwana went straight to the sufferer’s home. He then establish the thatched hut on fireplace whereas a neighbour watched.
Hearth Destroys Property and Leads to Arrest
The fireplace destroyed the hut and various property. These integrated a piece suit, safety shoes, and 5kg of beans.
Rapidly after the incident, any individual reported the subject to police. Authorities then arrested Munyambwana.
The court before all the pieces sentenced him to some years in detention middle. However, six months salvage been suspended on condition of restitution. To boot to, but every other six months salvage been suspended for shimmering behaviour.
